JHCHC Awarded Special Recognition by the American Heart Association

It is with great pleasure that the American Heart Association has awarded special recognition to Jackson-Hinds Comprehensive Health Center. The American Health Association’s Check. Change. Control. Cholesterol program, recognizes Jackson-Hinds Comprehensive Health Center for participating in improving awareness, detection, and management of high cholesterol by educating and empowering patients with evidence-based information and tools. Cardiovascular Disease remains a leading cause of morbidity and mortality. Currently, an estimated 92.1 million US adults have at least one type of cardiovascular disease which may lead to myocardial infarction (MI), stroke, or death.
